Winthrop’s Ken Halpin Leaving For Purdue

Winthrop athletic Director Ken Halpin is leaving after 5 years. According to multiple reports, Halpin has accepted the Deputy Athletic Director position at Purdue University. Halpin came to Winthrop in 2016 after serving as Deputy AD at Eastern Kentucky.   During Halpin’s time at Winthrop he led  7 national searches to hire new coaches.
