Winthrop Advances To Semi-Final

Led by three players in double figures (K.J Doucet 17 points, Kelton Talford 16 points & Kaswen Harrison 15 points) the Eagles punched their ticket to a Saturday afternoon semi final showdown with UNC Ashville. The Eagles coming off of their Friday night 88-79 win over Longwood are one win from a Sunday Big South Conference Championship Appearance. Saturday’s game can be heard on 94.3 FM beginning with a 2pm pregame and a tentative 2:30pm tip-off. Mike Pacheco has the call. The Eagles with a Saturday afternoon win will have a noon showdown with the winner of the High Point – Radford matchup.
