A Chester head on collision takes three lives over weekend

A head on vehicle car crash killed three people. Per the South Carolina Highway Patrol the two vehicle collision happened in Chester County, Friday night just before 8:30. The incident happened on SC 49 when a 2003 Honda civic collided with a 2025 Toyota sedan. They were driving in opposite directions. The driver of the Honda and passenger of the Toyota were killed on the scene while the other driver was transported to a Spartanburg hospital where they later passed away from injuries. The investigation is still ongoing.
