York County Sheriff’s Office in search for missing swimmer on Lake Wylie

A search for a missing person on Lake Wylie was suspended last night due to weather and night conditions. The York County Sheriff’s Office has been posting updates on social media saying crews were searching for a swimmer that went missing. Multiple crews were assisting in the search just south of the Buster Boyd Bridge. No other details have been released outside of the search continuing this morning.
