Third candidate enters Rock Hill mayoral race

A third hat has been thrown into the race for Mayor of Rock Hill. In a press release Ishmael Lowry, a local small business owner, describes himself as a strong conservative rooted in his Christian faith, says he is a firm believer in personal responsibility with a fair balance of community involvement. Lowery was a member of the City of Rock Hill’s All American City delegation, back in 2019. He joins York County Councilman Bump Roddey and incumbent Mayor John gettys as candidates. Election Day is October 19th.
