Rock Hill Police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that occurred on Patton Street. The victim reported upon pulling into the driveway and exiting his vehicle around 9:30 p.m., he was approached by three individuals who presented firearms while ordering him to the ground. The victim stated as one suspect approached, he struggled with the suspect over the firearm before fleeing toward the residence. As the victim was fleeing, one of the suspects fired a weapon striking the victim in the leg. The suspects then fled the scene. The victim was taken to Piedmont Medical Center by family for treatment where he was interviewed by RHPD. One suspect is described as a black male late 20’s to 30’s around 6 foot tall. The two other suspects were around 5’6 early 20’s. All were wearing dark clothing and fled the area on foot. Anyone with information is being asked to call Rock Hill police at 803 329 7293.
