York County sees second highest single day increase in COVID-19 cases

SC-DHEC has announced 1,374 new cases of COVID-19. 10,407 people were tested for the virus on Monday and 13.2% tested positive. York County saw its second highest single day increase with 141 cases. Lancaster County had 19 cases and Chester County had 9 cases.

23 additional deaths were also announced, which included an elderly York County individual.
