Fireworks Displays & Celebrations:

• Tega Cay: Join the “U.S. of Cay 4th of July Celebration” on July 4-5, 2025. The festivities on July 4th include a parade at 9 AM, a fish fry at 4 PM, and a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 PM from the Glennon Center. Activities on July 5th will feature water sports and a concert.
• Fort Mill: The Town of Fort Mill will host its Independence Day Celebration on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Walter Y. Elisha Park (345 N White St, Fort Mill, SC 29715). The free event runs from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, culminating in a fireworks finale around 9:15 PM. Expect food, fun, and live music.
• Lake Wylie: The Lake Wylie Fireworks will light up the sky on July 4, 2025, from 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Some of the best viewing areas include the Buster Boyd Bridge boat landing, the outside deck of Papa Doc’s Shore Club, the Rey Azteca deck at Lake Wylie Plaza, the patio at Lake Wylie Italian and Pizza, Bagel Boat, Long Cove Resort, or by boat near the Buster Boyd Bridge.
• Carowinds: Experience “Star-Spangled Nights” at Carowinds (14523 Carowinds Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28273) on July 4-5, 2025. The theme park will feature fireworks synchronized to patriotic music nightly at 9:30 PM. These dazzling displays will be visible from the Carolina Boardwalk, County Fair, and Celebration Plaza areas of the park, and are included with admission.
• Rock Hill: Celebrate at “Red, White & BOOM!” in Old Town Rock Hill (Main & Hampton Streets) on July 4, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This family-friendly event will feature live music, food trucks, inflatables, and a fireworks display launched from the east side of downtown. Admission is free.
• York: The City of York will host its Annual 4th of July Celebration on July 4, 2025, at York Middle School (1010 Devinney Rd, York, SC 29745). The event runs from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM and will include live music, food trucks, and a grand fireworks show to conclude the evening.
• Lancaster: Lancaster County Parks and Recreation has you covered with their Annual Rockin’ Stars & Stripes Spectacular happening on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Buford Athletic Complex (4073 Hurley Walters Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720). This free admission community celebration will feature a hot dog eating and lemonade drinking contest, live music from Big Wheel Survivors and Elliot Poston, kid activities, food, and a spectacular fireworks finale starting at 9:30 PM. The event runs from 5:30 PM to 9:45 PM. Please note: no dogs are allowed.
• Indian Land: Get ready for the Indian Land Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, at the Indian Land YMCA (2816 Worldreach Drive, Indian Land, SC). This free event will feature music, games, face painters, food, and a fireworks show that starts at 9:15 PM. You can watch from the fields or from your car. Please note the new location this year.
