SC-DHEC announces 740 new cases of COVID-19, 4.1% test positive

740 new cases of the coronavirus were announced by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, Monday afternoon. Only 4.1% of the 25,000-plus people tested for the virus were positive.
York County had 31 cases, Lancaster had 9 and Chester had 1. There were 14 additional deaths. The numbers reflect results from Saturday.
