Braves’ Switch-hitter Chipper Jones revvs up Winthrop players
Retired Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones spoke to a crowd of several hundred people Sunday night during Winthrop University’s 14th annual First Pitch Dinner. Earlier in the afternoon, Jones got a chance to talk with Winthrop’s baseball team and met with reporters. He had this to say about his chances of being a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer.
