Police cite teens in underage alcohol bust
ROCK HILL — Police cited seven teenagers this weekend for underage drinking on Saturday. Police were given a tip that there might have been a party where minors were served Alcohol on Barrington court, and once arriving on scene, found a handful of teens consuming beer and liquor.
Several teens attempted to flee the scene, and the 16-year-old girl hosting the party said her parents were out of town. She was cited with underage possession and purchase of beer and wine.
Seven others were also charged with possession, two males, ages 17-and-18 were issued tickets for the failure to identify themselves to police.
