Several local soccer players have been selected to represent South Carolina in the 2024 Clash of the Carolinas, the nation’s only interstate high school soccer all-star event. The match is scheduled for June 21 at the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex in Pineville, N.C.

The Clash of the Carolinas, which features top graduated seniors from South Carolina and North Carolina, is being held at the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex for the second consecutive year. The event provides a unique opportunity for players to compete at a high level before advancing to collegiate soccer careers.

Among the South Carolina selections, the Fort Mill area will be well-represented:

  • Brooke Barrett (Nation Ford) – Girls Team

  • Addison Peoples (Clover) – Girls Team

  • Beau Lesh (Nation Ford) – Boys Team

  • Tyler Otwell (Nation Ford) – Boys Team

  • Sam Sykes (Clover) – Boys Team

  • Jeremy White (Catawba Ridge) – Boys Team

  • Joshua Zawlocki (Catawba Ridge) – Boys Team

Nation Ford High School leads the region with three players selected across the boys’ and girls’ rosters. Barrett will represent the Falcons on the girls’ team, while Lesh and Otwell earned spots on the boys’ squad.

Clover High School will send Addison Peoples and Sam Sykes, recognizing their impact during strong senior seasons with the Blue Eagles. Catawba Ridge High School will also have two players featured, with Jeremy White and Joshua Zawlocki selected for the boys’ team.

The Clash of the Carolinas continues to highlight the high caliber of soccer talent across the Carolinas, with this year’s event once again set against the backdrop of one of the region’s top soccer facilities.

Kickoff for the matches is scheduled for Friday, June 21.
