Fort Mill Elementary Schools Claim the Top 10

An online platform has ranked the 10 best elementary schools in South Carolina and surpisingly, they all come from the same York County school district. The Fort Mill School district can now claim the top 10 elementary schools in the state based off data from Niche dot come. The website ranked schools based on state test scores, graduation rates and teacher quality. The site ranked over 700 public elementary schools in the palmetto state. Gold Hill elementary takes the top spot with Tega Cay, Pleasant Knoll, Kings Town and River Trail rounding out the top 5. From 6 to 10 was Doby’s Bridge, Sugar Creek, Springfield, Orchard Park, and Fort Mill rounding out the list. The rankings were also based on reviews from students, parents as well as data from the US Department of Education.
