York Middle School teacher charged with misdemeanor
A York Middle School teacher has been charged with the misdemeanor of Assault & Battery 3rd Degree upon a 13-year-old School student. Mary Katherine Long turned herself in Monday. She was provided a bond hearing and rleased on a personal recognizance bond. Lt. Kevin Hoffman with the York Police Department said that the investigation is in coordination with the juvenile’s parents and the York
School District, when revealed that an assault upon the juvenile was committed.The case will be tried in York Municipal Court March 23rd.
The teacher was terminated from the District this past Friday
