Kershaw Woman Now Charged

A woman who was shot in a May 10 Lancaster County incident in which a man was killed while her child was in the back seat of a car has now been charged herself. Jody Linn Holt, 30, of Kershaw is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and unlawful neglect of a child. Holt is the mother of the 4-year-old boy who was in the car during a drug deal gone bad that resulted in a shoot-out. Holt was shot in both legs and the torso then later released from a hospital, then arrested after further investigation, according to Maj. Matt Shaw of the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office. A family member took custody of the child after Holt was arrested, Shaw said. Vincent Lambert Jr., 30, died at the scene. Three Lancaster County teens are charged with murder and attempted murder in that case.
