Man On Drugs Who Beat Girlfriend To Death Gets 45 Years Without Parole
A York County man will spend 45 years in prison without parole after admitting that he beat his girlfriend to death, burned her body and abandoned it on a rural Chester County highway.
Last October 23-year-old John Coddington met Tiffany Williams online.
Coddington admitting to paying for sex with 32-year-old Williams, and eventually became her boyfriend. According to Coddington he later found her using his residence for prostitution, he then beat her while he was drunk and high.
The defense argued that Williams got Coddington into hard drugs like cocaine, meth and heroin.
But the prosecution claimed Coddington beat Williams for a long time, then watched her die during the last 20 minutes of her life.
He had a tattoo of a teardrop below his eye, a known symbol of a killer.
