Governor Nikki Haley was on hand in Fort Mill late this morning to cut the ribbon on the new headquarters for The Lash Group.

It’s a patient support services company that works with pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide patient access and affordability.

The Lash Group has already hired 1200 employees for its Fort Mill facility, and expects to double its workforce over the next several years.

Lash President Tracy Foster says the company is recruiting high performers with a range of experiences.

“We’re seeking new associates that embody our company’s core values, that are analytical thinkers, adaptable to change, eager to learn new technology, and motivated by making a difference in the lives of patients,” Foster said.

Just before cutting the ribbon, Haley told the crowd that South Carolina is in the customer service business in everything.

“This was such a natural fit because here you have a company where all their focus was on quality and health care, and you put that in a state that was named the friendliest and most patriotic state in the country, one that really cares about its citizens, and it was the most perfect marriage we could come up with,” Haley said.

The Lash Group’s $57.3 million headquarters has 250,0000 square feet.
