A York County man is now in custody after authorities say he shot and killed a man early Sunday morning.
York County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Trent Faris said that Shannon Jenkins, 31, was shot and killed just after 1 a.m. Sunday in apparent home invasion at a one-story ranch of Neely’s Store Road in Rock Hill.
Warrants were issued for Vincent Bratton, 26, in connection with the incident.
Bratton was on the run for several hours before deputies say he turned himself in around 6 o’clock Sunday night.
Bratton faces a murder charge and will face a judge for bond hearing today.
