Mulvaney pleased with court’s ruling upholding SC Voter ID law

State Attorney General Alan Wilson calls the ruling a major victory for South Carolina’s election process.

U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney (SC-5) says the law has been in the works for several years now and politics seemed to get in the way of its full roll-out.

Mulvaney says the law looked good to go well before Wednesday’s ruling

Opponents of the Voter ID law say it discriminates and disenfranchises minority voters.
