Clover leaders name retired educator to vacant board seat

Clover School District officials have named a Clover native and retired educator to the district’s vacant school board seat.
Liz Johnson was selected Monday by the district’s Board of Trustees to fill the rest of the unexpired term of Jack Grier, who resigned from the board last month.
Johnson represents the Community and will serve through at least November of this year.
Johnson is a retired elementary school teacher and is currently the choir director at Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church. She retired in 2006.
