Tilley named new CHC Executive Director
Monday night, York County’s Culture and Heritage Commission named a new Executive Director. Carey Tilley was selected from out of four finalists to take over the museums following the departure of longtime director Van Sheilds in October.
CHC Commissioner Rick Lee said the decision to select Tilley was unanimous.

Tilley has also served as the director of the Chieftans Museum and Major Ridge Home in Rome, Georgia.
