One killed, one injured in clover wreck

One pedestrian was killed and another seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle near Clover Monday evening.
36-year-old Jerry Rose Junior of York was flown to a Charlotte hospital and his condition is not known.
The name of the 35-year-old woman who died in the mishap has not been released.
Lance Corporal Billy Elder with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the man and woman were walking on US Highway 321 at Jim McCarter Road when they were hit by a Chevy around 6:30 p.m.
Elder says the Chevy driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
