School employee finds BB gun in student’s locker

An employee at Dutchman Creek Middle found a gun inside a student’s locker late last week.

A Rock Hill police report says the man was putting something inside the locker belonging to a 15-year-old student when he found a BB gun poking out of a student’s book bag and told the school resource officer.

Police questioned the boy who denied it was his — saying he was holding it or someone else. The gun and 2-thousand BB pellets were confiscated by police, and the student was released to his sister.
