A Lancaster man has been sentenced to 15 years (180?months) in federal prison following his conviction on drug conspiracy charges, according to public records and media reports.

Defendant and Charges
Tymarious Nydarious Thompson, 24, of Lancaster, South Carolina, was convicted of conspiring to distribute substantial quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana. The sentencing, handed down by U.S. District Judge Mary Geiger Lewis, also includes a five?year term of court?ordered supervision after his prison term. In the federal system, parole is not available.


Details of the Investigation
Investigators traced Thompson’s involvement to distributing over 500 grams of methamphetamine, as well as additional quantities of cocaine and marijuana. Evidence collected during searches of his home in 2019 and 2020 included:

  • 2019 raid: Approximately 7 pounds of marijuana, a sawed?off shotgun, a handgun, ammunition, and counterfeit money.
  • 2020 search: Over 198 grams of pure “ice” methamphetamine, crack cocaine, marijuana, another firearm, and more than $4,000 in cash.

Agents also carried out multiple controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Thompson, including sales to an undercover operative. Despite the 2020 search and seizures, Thompson continued illicit activity until his arrest.
