SC-DHEC announces 1,000-plus cases of COVID-19 for first time in over a month

For the first time in over a month SC-DHEC announced 1,000+ new cases of COVID-19. York County had 43, Lancaster County had 15 and Chester County had 9. 8,459 tests were performed on Wednesday and 12.7% tested positive.

11 additional deaths were also announced. The death total is now 3,400.
