Indian Land Middle School 8th Grade Lady Warriors Capture Championship at Mallory Wells Invitational

Indian Land, SC – The Indian Land Middle School 8th Grade Lady Warriors, under the leadership of Head Coach Kendall Griffin, claimed the 2025 Mallory Wells Invitational Volleyball Tournament Championship on Saturday, August 30th, at Buford High School. The girls also went on to not lose a single set the entire tournament.
The prestigious tournament featured top competition, including Buford Middle School, South Middle School, Andrew Jackson Middle School, and both the 7th and 8th grade Indian Land Middle School teams. In the championship match, the Indian Land 8th Grade Lady Warriors faced off against Buford Middle School, delivering an outstanding performance to secure the title and bring home the championship trophy.
The 7th Grade Lady Warriors also made a strong showing in the tournament. After advancing to the semifinals against Andrew Jackson Middle School, the 7th Grade squad battled hard and secured a victory, placing them in 3rd place overall.

? 1st Place: Indian Land Middle School – 8th Grade

? 3rd Place: Indian Land Middle School – 7th Grade
? 4th Place: Andrew Jackson Middle School
? 5th Place: South Middle School
Coach Griffin praised the effort and dedication of her players: “Our athletes showed resilience, teamwork, and the Warrior spirit from the first serve to the final point. This championship reflects not only their talent but also their commitment to each other and to representing Indian Land with pride.”
Player of the game was #9, Kallie King. King played previously on the 7th Grade team, which clinched the FMAC (Fort Mill Area Conference) Championship for the 2024-2025 Season.
The Mallory Wells Invitational continues to be a benchmark tournament for middle school volleyball programs in the region, and Indian Land Middle School once again proved its strength on the court.
