The Anne Springs Close Greenway is set to host its annual Boil, Brew & ‘Que fall festival on Saturday, October 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Greenway Gateway. The event, co-hosted by The Colonel’s Club, will feature a blend of Southern food, craft brews, and live entertainment, with all proceeds supporting a key community program.

This year’s festival will offer barbecue and sides from local favorite, The Dixie Pig. For those looking for an upgraded experience, a limited number of VIP tickets are available. VIP ticket holders will have access to an exclusive Lowcountry boil with fresh South Carolina shrimp from Saltwater Markets, as well as a private happy hour, priority parking, and exclusive seating areas.

The beverage selection will feature local craft beers from partners of the YoCo Brew Trail. Live music will be provided by Kris Hitchcock, offering a Southern soundtrack for the event.

The festival is designed for the entire family. Children can enjoy a variety of activities including a hay bale maze, live reptile encounters, lawn games, and fall crafts. The event is a fundraiser for the Anne Springs Close Bridge Program, which provides financial assistance to ensure that families from all income levels can access the Greenway’s programs and natural spaces. Since 2018, the program has awarded over $1.6 million in financial aid.

In addition to the festival, there will be a raffle for a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 20-Year Bourbon Whiskey, with a value estimated at $2,500. Only 125 tickets will be sold, and the drawing will take place at 7:30 p.m.

General admission tickets are on sale, with discounted youth tickets available for ages 5-15. The event is a key fundraiser for the Greenway, helping to make its community programs accessible to everyone.
