“The district has received a copy of the report prepared by the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health outlining potential worst-case scenario impacts related to the Silfab Solar facility. Prior to receiving the report, the district had already begun the process of engaging an independent environmental and health safety firm to conduct a comprehensive risk assessment of our school sites. This is part of our ongoing response to the recommendations previously provided by the Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (PEHSU) at Emory University.”
