York, SC — Hotel developer Raines has officially broken ground on a new Hampton Inn & Suites in York, marking a significant step in the city’s ongoing economic development efforts.

Owned by York Hotel Group LLC and designed by ODA Architecture, the 97-room hotel will be the only branded lodging option in the York market. The project is expected to generate 30 to 35 full- and part-time jobs and provide a boost to the local economy.

The new hotel will include modern amenities such as onsite parking, a fitness center, a business center, complimentary Wi-Fi, and free breakfast. It will also offer twice the amount of meeting space typically found in a Hampton Inn, making it a versatile venue for both business and community events.

City, county, and state officials have partnered with Raines on the development, offering economic incentives to help bring the project to life. The initiative is part of a broader effort to revitalize York’s downtown area and support the city’s growing residential and manufacturing base.

The Hampton Inn & Suites in York is positioned to serve both local travelers and visitors to the greater Charlotte area, which continues to experience steady residential and commercial development. Construction is now underway, and the hotel is expected to open its doors in the near future.
