Rock Hill man sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexual abuse to child for 7 years
A man from Rock Hill who videoed himself sexually assaulting a child has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.. Anthony Thomas Moore, 42 pled guilty to second degree criminal conduct with a minor and third degree sexual exploitation of a minor Thursday in York County Criminal Court. The abuse lasted from the time the child was 7 to 14. The victim was described by prosecutor’s as “an extraordinary survivor.” They added that the citizens of the county are safer because “we no longer have to walk the same streets as Anthony Moore.” In the case, Police with Rock Hill along with the York County Sheriff’s Office had found videos of the victim with sex acts and other porography when searched Moore’s electronics. Moore will register as a sex offender after his release.
