RHPD Investigating Sunday Night Hit & Run
Rock Hill Police are investigating after a man was hit and killed in Rock Hill Sunday night. The accident happened just before 6:30 p.m. on Celanese Road near I-77 and appears to be a hit and run. Responding officers found a 44-year-old man, with life-threatening injuries, lying in the roadway. He appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, police say. The man was transported to Piedmont Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The RHPD Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is continuing the investigation. If anyone has any information about this incident, they are asked to call the Rock Hill Police Department.
