5th District Congressman Ralph Norman cruised to another term as he defeated democratic Challenger Evangeline Hundley. He did it with nearly 64% of the vote.
For State Senate District 17, Everett Stubbs defeated Democratic Incumbent Mike Fanning by 32 votes. Other winners locally in State House and Senate seats including District 15 Senator Wes Climer defeating Sarah Work getting 76% of the vote. District 16 Senate Seat incumbent Michael Johnson defeated Kiral Mace, David Martin takes the District 26 seat for the House of Representatives seat over Matt Vilardebo and Heath Sessions retains his seat defeating John Zabel.
The Chester School Bond and Lancaster School Bond both failed along with the two Lancaster County transportation sales tax questions.
However, both Pennies for Progress Five(which includes 400 million towards road projects) passed along with the York School District One school bond which includes a new school and upgrades.
The York County Voter Registration office reporting that over 144,000 people voted which turns out to be 65% of the county.
The certification hearing is Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Courtroom at 2 S Congress Street, York.
