ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Rock Hill-York County Airport is marking its 65th anniversary with a special open house celebration this Saturday, October 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The community is invited to join in the festivities and explore the rich history and vibrant aviation culture of the region.

The event promises a day of excitement for aviation enthusiasts and families alike, featuring a skydiving demonstration by Skydive Carolina and flyovers by a variety of unique aircraft. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view static displays of several planes, offering a closer look at aircraft rarely seen up close.

In addition to aviation attractions, the Rock Hill Cruisers Car Show will be on display, showcasing an impressive collection of classic and custom vehicles. Other exhibits will offer fun and educational activities for all ages.

The open house offers a chance for the public to connect with local pilots, learn more about the airport’s operations, and enjoy a day filled with high-flying entertainment.
