RHPD provides update from shooting last night with name of suspect being charged

Rock Hill Police has issued charges in the shooting that happened Thursday afternoon in the 700 block of Patriot Parkway. Through the investigation, it was determined the victim and suspect met to engage in the sale of THC Vapes. Both were inside the vehicle driven by the victim when the suspect presented a firearm to rob the victim. A struggle over the firearm ensued which resulted in the victim being shot in the abdomen and arm. Both were then transported to get medical treatment. The suspect was identified as Ervin Jackie Stephan Myers 17 of Rock Hill. Myers is being charged as an adult for Attempted Murder, Attempted Armed Robbery, and Possession of a Firearm During a Crime of Violence. Myers will be served warrants upon his release from the hospital. .
