Rock Hill’s “Light the Night” Christmas Parade Returns December 6, Applications Open September 25

ROCK HILL, SC – Get ready for a dazzling display of lights, music, and holiday spirit at this year’s “Light the Night” Christmas Parade on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 6:30 PM. The parade will feature lighted entries ranging from floats to marching bands, walking groups, mascots, and more, illuminating the streets of Rock Hill with festive cheer.

The parade will follow its traditional route, starting at Oakland Avenue and Stewart Avenue and winding its way through downtown, ending at Fountain Park. Spectators can expect an exciting evening filled with holiday-themed displays.

Applications for Parade Entries Open September 25

For those looking to participate, applications for parade entries will open on September 25 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited, and the parade typically fills up within a few days, so early registration is encouraged.

Before the application window opens, potential participants can prepare by creating an online registration account and organizing their entry details, including descriptions of themes, costumes, and lights. For motorized entries, the length and height of the full float must also be submitted.

Entry fees are $200 for commercial entries and $50 for non-commercial, payable online after acceptance into the parade.
