Man who shot police officer in Chesterfield has been found and taken into custody

The man who shot a police officer in McBee has been found and taken into custody. The incident happened on a traffic stop on 11th street near by McBee High in Chesterfield County. The person was identified as Alston Modlin and said he shot at the officer nearly 60 times before driving off. The Officer has been taken to an area hospital for treatment and has since been released, per SLED. Around 10:30 a.m, officers announced Modlin was found in a field off Una Road in Lee County.. A release said that Modlin was driving a 2013 Toyota Tacoma.Authorities have not yet said what charges Modlin could face.
