Teen charged after incident involving golf cart and SUV that left another teen dead
Charges have now been filed against the teenage driver that was accused of hitting a golf cart last month which then killed a 15 year old girl who was on it.Back on July 25th, police were called to Laurel Creek Drive between India Hook and Twin Lakes. On the scene, officers were informed that a golf cart holding six people was hit by a Honda CRV near a curve. The car was in the wrong lane with the golf cart flipping over when hit. 15 year old Marlie Sullivan died at the scene. In a release by Rock Hill PD, they say they’ve charged the 16 year old boy with reckless homicide. Police said “the speed of the car at the time of the crash showed reckless disregard for safety of others”. The identity of the 16 year old will not be released due to his age.
