New stop light installed in Fort Mill hopes to reduce congestion

Per the Tega Cay Sun….A new stop light was installed Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 160 and Brayden Parkway in Fort Mill. This aims to help improve and enhance the safety along with traffic flow. It was made possible through the South Carolina Department of Transportation and local leaders. York County Councilman Tom Audette and Senator Johnson were instrumental in advocating for the project. They say the installation of the stop light is a key step forward in the ongoing efforts to improve local infrastructure. The hope is that it also reduces overall congestion.
