Rock Hill High recognized as the districts top athletic program

Rock Hill High was recognized as having the school districts top athletic program for this past school year. The three high schools which of course also included Northwestern and South Pointe were graded on community service, academics and athletics. The Bearcats athletic program finished first in overall GPA within the program, first in number of hours for community service and second sports to Northwestern. Per officials, the point of the cup trophy awarded is to have friendly competition among the high schools but also boosting morals for its student athletes. In the district as a whole, the Rock Hill schools had a GPA of 3.78 and over 15,000 hours of community service. They have plans to exceed those in the next year. For the middle schools, Dutchman creek won the District Cup for the 23-24 academic year.
