Once a movie theater and then left vacant for years now finally has a plan. According to The Herald, this summer the former cinema 7 property at 2150 Cherry Road could be open for business. Doggett Concrete in Charlotte bought the property two years ago for 1.5 million and is hoping to turn it into a flex and office space. Its 19,000 square feet with the goal of being leased out by July. The hope by the developer is to appeal to small businesses or hobbyists in need of warehouse room or offices. Each theater will have a garage door and area for its respected space with the long term plan by the developer to have other buildings built in the same model.
