Norman Hege Jewelers Breakin

The Rock Hill Police Department say burglars cut a hole in the nail salon to break into Norman Hege Jewelers next door Sunday morning. Police said the back door of B & K Nails on Herlong Avenue was pried open. The burglars cut a hole in the drywall to get into Norman Hege Jewlers, which caused an alarm to be activated. Thieves got away with about $700 worth of jewelry because the expensive merchandise was in a safe. Kristin Hege Sandler said the burglary was disheartening and very frustrating to deal with. She said the damage to the store would cost more to repair than the items that were taken. Investigators are going through security video in hopes of getting a clear image of the burglar.
