Fort Mill Planning commission reviews new Harris Teeter site plan

Fort’s Mill Planning Commission meets tonight and on the agenda are revised plans for the new Harris Teeter shopping center off Fort Mill Parkway on North Dobys Ridge Road. Harris Teeter Properties purchased the 15 acres of land back in 2015 but has just recently submitted its plans for what is called “The Catawba Ridge Market.” If approved, the new Harris Teeter grocery store would be adjacent to more than a dozen other commercial properties. The recommendation of the Fort Mill Planning Commission will be passed onto the Town Council which will hold a public hearing on the proposal November 13th.  A final decision by council will be made after Thanksgiving on November 27th.
