York Tech gets grant to support workforce development

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.6 million grant to York Technical College to support workforce development and job creation in the industrial sector. President of York Tech Dr.Stacey Moore said that with the investment they will continue to spark innovation, ignite careers, and advance their communities prosperity towards high demand jobs. She added that the funds will help them also fund training on industrial technologies and ensure students have the skills to fulfill workforce needs of industry partners in the area.
