Darren Wilson leaves Catawba Ridge for a position with the Rock Hill Schools

There will be a new principal at Catawba Ridge high school. Darren Wilson is leaving the post and will be taking an administrative position within the Rock Hill School District. He will take the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for classified employees. Hes been at Catawba Rigdge as its principal for the last four years. Wilsons career includes 11 years as an assistant principal and another 10 as a teacher.The posting for the principal position is up on the districts website for what will be the school’s fourth principal. Wilson will continue to work with the school during the transition period and help identify the next principal. Wilson holds a Master of Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Teaching for Business Education from Winthrop University.
