A Rock Hill woman will spend the next three years in federal prison after officials say she plead guilty to an involvement with a multi state drug operation out of the Rock Hill and Charlotte Area. 51 year old Patricia Ann Hemphill is one of nineteen defendants in case where authorities with the FBI and York County Multi Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit investigated suspects who were obtaining large amounts of cocaine, meth, heroine and other drugs from Southern California. According the US Attorney’s office, they found the group shipped 255 packages of the drugs during a one year period then used fentanyl to make more than 1 million counterfeit roxiecodone pills which were then sold to Rock Hill,Charlotte, Atlanta, Greenville and Myrtle Beach. Hemphill and her son used their house in distributing some of the drugs.
