A key confirmation hearing in the David Tepper GT Real Estate Chapter 11 bankruptcy case has been delayed till next month. Court filings show that the hearing which was scheduled for Wednesday has been adjourned to a date in December which will be finalized soon. The hearing delay appears to come in response after GT Real estate and the City of Rock Hill reached a settlement for 20 million dollars. Court documents are now showing that a proposed date has been set for December 14th but its unclear if that is final. It also appears that GT Real Estate has gotten the support of Mascaro Barton Mallow on their proposal of its Chapter 11 plan which allocates 60.5 million to repay contractors and creditors. Still no word on if GT Real Estate and York County will come to an agreement in the case. Last month, the judge in the case granted the county an 81 million dollar temporary voting stake in the process of confirmation in the bankruptcy.
