Sunset Park Elem. goes temporarily remote; Rock Hill Schools are meeting and monitoring COVID dashboard.

With the Omicron variant of COVID 19 and a recent spike in cases across the country, school districts in the state are preparing on what to do. Sunset Park in the Rock Hill School District today went temporarily remote. In an email, the district says they will do this till January 20th. A statement by Public Information Officer, Lindsay Machak with the Rock Hill Schools says that the administration continues to monitor the situation, carefully watching the COVID dashboard. The Rock Hill schools along with other York County districts hold daily meetings getting updates on number of quarantines, positive cases, and parent concerns. She also added that the health, safety and well being of the school community remains their top priority by following the proper protocols.
