A manhunt continues as deputies in Chester County are urgently searching for a suspect identified as being 27-year-old Tyler Donnet Terry, who is from Chester County whom deputies say is armed and dangerous following a chase late Monday where shots were fired. According to the sheriff’s office, around 11 p.m. deputies tried to pull over a driver near the Bojangles at Edgeland Road and Highway 9 in the town of Richburg, and when the driver refused to stop he then led them on a chase. The driver fired several shots at deputies, striking at least two law enforcement vehicles, during that pusuit. The chase traveled along Highway 9 into Chester and then from Highway 72 into York County. The vehicle turned onto Highway 901 and led police back to Chester County before crashing on Highway 9 between Sloan Road and Lewisville High School. A woman in the vehicle was arrested however the driver, who authorities said is armed, ran into the woods and is still on the loose. Chester County Schools was operating on a 2-hour delay as police search for Terry.
