Two Winthrop freshmen receive PMC scholarships for health studies
Two Winthrop University students have each been awarded $10,000 scholarships by Piedmont Medical Center.
The scholarship winners are freshman human nutrition major Ashley Archie and freshman biology major Tierra Collins.
PMC provides $20,000 worth of scholarships each year to Winthrop students who are residents of York County, major or minor in a health-related field and are identified by the University as having financial need.
