Charlotte attorney Jerry Reese filed his sixth lawsuit Monday in a North Carolina court in an attempt to build a new ballpark for the Charlotte Knights in the Queen City.

Viola went on to say in a written release that the Knights have no intention of allowing Reese’s lawsuit to disrupt or delay the Knights move to Charlotte.

Developers are hoping to break ground on a new ballpark by October of this year and are setting their sights on a first pitch in October of 2014.
